A conference to discuss health policy was organized at the Belgian Royal Academy of Medicine.

In his speech the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Vytenis Andriukaitis, who took part in the conference, not only outlined the main European health policy guidelines, but also shared his personal insights. One of the most popular Belgian politicians, Health Minister Maggie de Block, also attended the event and made a presentation concerning Belgian health issues and prospects in solving the problems. The ambassador discussed further opportunities of bilateral cooperation between Belgian and Lithuanian educational and training institutions.
