On 12^th of October during his intensive work trip to Luxembourg Ambassador Gediminas Varvuolis paid a visit to the Grand Ducal Palace where he was greeted by the Marshall of the Court Lucien Weiler. Throughout the meeting important issues as security and defense were touched. However, the highlight of the visit to the Grand Duchy was the encounter with the Government’s Secretary General Jean Paul Senninger. Ambassador and the high state official discussed upcoming collaboration between countries for the year 2017, which will have exceptional importance for Lithuania’s and Luxembourg’s bilateral relations.
