Kotryna Seselgyte was born grew up in a musicians and artists' family in Vilnius, Lithuania.

From her large family with seven children - all three brothers and three sisters are artists or musicians.

Kotryna is the eldest of sisters.

From childhood, she has always drawn ever since she got her first  pencil.

She won a few times in the paintings competitions already during her school times.

She has also studied at music school, which influenced her a lot in terms of creative life.

Since school times, she was always interested in the Japanese culture and art.

Therefore, when entered the university, took up and studied Japanese language.

After graduating from gymnasium (equivalent to High school), Kotryna entered Vilnius Academy of Arts, specialized in stained glass. During this period, she indulged not only in glass, but developed her skills in many other fields, such as drawing, painting, and music, specially watercolor.

In 2010, Kotryna won the scholarship for Erasmus program and studied glass art in Sunderland university, UK. This experience was very profitable for her since all the knowledge she acquired there has always been very useful in helping her creations.

After graduating university, she went to Japan for a few months for language studies. After that, worked as a volunteer art teacher in Taiwan.

Kotryna have participated in many glass and painting exhibitions (in Lithuania, England and Germany). She also, made many personal - watercolor exhibitions.

(I don't know, should I mention, that this is my first personal exhibition abroad?)
