L’Europe en Musique’ 2015, classical chamber music festival

The classical chamber music festival, ‘L’Europe en Musique’, aims to present a wide range of classical European composers. The Lithuanian contribution will be the sonate pour contrebasse et piano (composer Vytautas Barkauskas), performed by David Desimpelaere (contrebasse) and Erik Desimpelaere (piano).

The festival offers a varied repertoire of classical chamber music by European composers from the period of Romanticism up to the present day.

‘L’Europe en Musique’ is a unique classical music festival organized by Musique en Liberté ASBL and this year is the 4th time it takes place.

Six concerts and 28 composers will be performed from the 23rd of April to the 26th of April 2015 at the Musical Instruments Museum in Brussels.

The festival gives the possibility to discover rarely performed works, some of which will be played in Belgium for the first time.
