LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO THE KING OF THE BELGIANS

On 25 October Lithuanian Ambassador Nijolė Žambaitė presented credentials to the King of the Belgians Albert II.

During the conversation King Albert II shared the warmest memories of his and Queen Paola’s official visit to Lithuania in March and conveyed cordial greetings to the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus and Mrs Alma Adamkiene.

The King of the Belgians and Lithuanian Ambassador discussed bilateral economic cooperation, development of business links and perspectives of cooperation in education sector. The King showed interest in the ways how Lithuania plans to use the allocations of the European Union’s Structural Funds.
