THE NEW HONORARY CONSUL OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA RECEIVES THE LETTERS OF EXEQUATUR
The official letters of Exequatur were delivered to a newly appointed Honorary consul of the Republic of Lithuania Baron Jean Jacques HAUS during the ceremony which took place on the 30th of October at the Lithuanian Embassy in Brussels.
During the ceremony Baron Haus stressed that he was grateful to Lithuania for this honour. The Honorary consul expressed his determination to take an active part in the communication between Lithuania and Belgium and stressed that some work have already begun.
Lithuania‘s ambassador for the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Nijolė Žambaitė expressed her confidence that new Honorary Consulate in Ghent will broaden the bilateral ties between Lithuania and Belgium and will be a trustworthy bridge in expanding economic and cultural ties and encouraging direct contacts between the citizens of Lithuania and Belgium.
